Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveler has announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice awards, with the Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro recognized in 9th place in the \u201cHotels in South America\u201d category.<\/p>\n

Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveler is a luxury travel and lifestyle magazine based in New York City and published by Cond\u00e9 Nast, a global media company owned by Advanced Publications. More than 575,000 readers of the publication across the United States submitted responses evaluating their travel experiences around the world from April 1 to June 30, 2024, naming their favorites in categories such as hotels, resorts, cruises, spas, among others.<\/p>\n

The award reflects Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro’s commitment to the global standards of excellence of the Grand Hyatt brand, offering a complete structure and excellent services with a focus on hospitality.<\/p>\n

Located between Barra da Tijuca Beach and Marapendi Lagoon, the urban resort has 436 rooms and suites, two restaurant options, the award-winning Japanese Shiso and Cant\u00f4 Gastr\u00f4 & Lounge, specializing in Brazilian cuisine, Atiaia Spa, of international standard, a large area with an outdoor pool and wet deck and bar service, beach service that includes chairs, towels and umbrellas, as well as an exclusive exit.<\/p>\n

There are also resort activities, such as a yoga class, caipirinha class, bike experience, cacha\u00e7a tasting and much more. A highlight is the ferry ride across the Marapendi Lagoon, which allows guests to get to know the local fauna and flora, with a biologist accompanying the entire ride, providing information about the alligators, capybaras and various birds that live in the region.<\/p>\n

The hotel also has a Kids Club, a recreational area for children up to 12 years old, available daily from 9am to 5pm, where the little ones can enjoy fun activities such as drawing, painting, reading, theater, games and others.<\/p>\n
