The establishment was voted the best hotel in South America by the readers of Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller magazine in the prestigious \u201cReaders&#8217; Choice Awards\u201d published on Tuesday (01\/10). With an impressive 575,000 votes from tourists around the world, the Fasano scored an impressive 99.71 points out of 100.<\/p>\n<p>With eight floors, the Fasano has 81 apartments and 10 suites, all designed to offer the highest standards of comfort and sophistication. Its privileged location, opposite Arpoador, offers breathtaking views of the beach, Morro Dois Irm\u00e3os and Corcovado, and is also the favorite of international celebrities when they visit Rio. During the last edition of Rock in Rio, part of the attraction chose the Fasano as their temporary home, even though it was 30 km away from the festival. As far as gastronomy is concerned, the Gero Rio restaurant, located inside the hotel, is known for its high-quality Italian cuisine.
