Last Sunday (27), American Airlines (AA) began expanding its daily operations between Rio de Janeiro and the cities of Dallas, Texas (USA); and New York, in the state of the same name.
The company has increased the number of operations between Tom Jobim International Airport (RIOgaleão – GIG) and Miami International Airport (MIA), resuming its seasonal routes between the terminal on Ilha do Governador, in Rio’s North Zone , and the international airports of Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and New York-John F. Kennedy (JFK).
Resumed on Sunday, connections to/from Dallas and New York will be operated by AA daily until March 30, 2025, throughout the summer.
American Airlines will use a Boeing 787-8 with a capacity of 234 passengers to fly to DFW, and a Boeing 777-200 to fly to JFK. The plane has 273 seats, according to information from Aero In and Aviation TV.
